Dream opportunity for artisan baker
In September 2008 a new artisan bakery and national training facility will open on a fabulous site in the East Midlands which already boasts an organic dairy herd and cheese-making business, a farm shop, café and craft workshops. The project’s aims are to bake delicious organic bread and confectionery in wood-fired ovens and to promote health and enjoyment by helping people to learn the skills of sustainable food production.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced artisan baker to be in at the start of an exciting project with a compelling vision and resources to match. The baker’s role will be to build sales, hire staff and collaborate with the partners and Andrew Whitley in developing the teaching arm of the enterprise.
The successful candidate will be a skilful, energetic and enthusiastic baker, committed to real food and capable of balancing management responsibility with creative teamwork.
