Together We Rise is a tailored process for strengthening a team’s effectiveness. All teams deal with three issues:
- Getting things done at the right time and in a planned way
- Making and dealing with changes
- Ensuring that people are provided with what they need to give of their best
Timeliness, transformation and nourishment are central to breadmaking, as under the watchful eye of the baker inert ingredients come to life, changed by the interaction of yeast and time into vital food.
Together We Rise is designed to address each team’s particular needs and is delivered by experienced facilitators Fiona Reed and Tim Sims, who have worked widely with teams from both public and private sectors, and organic baker Andrew Whitley.
Case Study
A team from International Celtic Consortium enjoyed Together We Rise. The particular challenge facing ICC was how to bring focus and dynamism into the development of an exciting start-up concept being pioneered by a geographically disparate group of strong personalities.
Guided by Village Bakery founder Andrew Whitley, the team made a variety of breads and were little short of amazed at the results - especially since there were times during the kneading process when faint hearts might easily have given up in despair.
They also worked on their organisation's vision, operating principles and strategy and agreed objectives for the next phase of their business growth.
After two intense but enjoyable days the team members all felt they had gained from the experience, so much so that they are giving serious consideration to building Together We Rise into their corporate training activities.
