On a working sheep farm, with great views of the Pentland Hills. Quite high and rural, with a nearby footpath into Carlops village.
All three rooms (one twin and two double) have en-suite bathrooms and are on the ground floor. Guests come and go via a private external door.

A 17th century inn in the village of West Linton, in a high position, so some rooms have views to the hills. It is at the junction of the two roads through the village and may not suit those who want perfect quiet. The Gordon Arms serves food and local/real ale. Four rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. B Hardgatehead Cottage Proprietors: Hamish & Susie Dykes
A recently completed renovation, using environmentally sustainable materials and methods. Sleeps six: one double, one twin, two single beds (in a sleeping loft). Weekly letting is the norm, but contact the owners to enquire about shorter lets off-season.
