Shipping And Handling

Parcels below 2 kilos in weight go by Royal Mail Parcel Post (second class). Our choice of delivery services for larger packages in the UK and most deliveries outside the UK will vary.

Unlike some online traders, we do not have contracts with large corporations or heavy discounts on our delivery costs. We try to reflect the actual, current cost of delivery in the charges we make to customers.

Shipping to Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Isles, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man

Parcels below 2 kilos in weight go by Royal Mail Parcel Post (second class). For orders over 2 kilos please contact us (info@breadmatters.com) with your order and we will quote you a shipping cost. We will search for the cheapest option but courier costs to non-mainland UK can be expensive.

International Shipping

We can send parcels to almost anywhere in the world but if no shipping cost appears when you view your basket or at checkout please contact us (info@breadmatters.com) with your order and we will quote you a shipping cost.

We send all of our international parcels on a tracked service.

Delivery Schedule

We usually despatch goods on Mondays and Thursdays. If you need to receive the goods by a specific date, please contact us and we will do our best to meet your deadline or, at least, give you the most accurate information we can about your delivery.

Certain larger items of baking equipment are delivered directly from the manufacturer within 2-3 weeks. If your order is likely to be delayed more than this, we will do our best to inform you and supply an estimated delivery date.

Note: Occasionally, an item you have ordered may be out of stock. This is unlikely to happen but if it does, we will contact you immediately to suggest an alternative, inform you of when we will have the item available or arrange a full refund of any payment you have made.

Returns Policy

If your purchases do not arrive in good condition, or if there is a mistake in your order, please let us know immediately and give us brief details, including the date the parcel was delivered.

We will either send you a replacement free of charge (provided we still have some in stock) or you can choose to have your money refunded.

Please note that we cannot pay for the return postage of unwanted items.
