Many people use sunflower seeds in or on their sourdough breads. And here is the perfect wood-pulp proving basket for such loaves. It will take about 1 kg of dough. When it has risen, the dough is gently tipped out onto a baking tray or stone, revealing the sunflower design on top. To accentuate the sunflower imprint, lay some seeds in the indentations before placing the dough in the basket.
